Your Cake Orders

Approximately 1 month’s notice, if possible, for celebration cakes and 6 months for wedding cakes. Schedule dependent, I may have the capacity to accept a booking at shorter notice. If your cake contains fruit cake layers with alcohol, these are baked well in advance, to ensure proper maturation of the infusion of alcohol into the cake. I bake all sponge cakes the week of your event to maintain freshness.

Securing your Order 

A deposit of 50% on placement of your order, which is deducted from the final balance payable. Your outstanding balance will is payable one week before your cake is due. Deposits are non refundable.

Final Balance Payments

50% of balance, is payable 2 months prior to wedding date final balance payment is due 1 month prior to the wedding date.

Cancellations 

7 working days’ notice is required or payment in full.  Full payment of the cake balance is required if cancellation is within 1 month of the wedding date, 50% of cake balance is required if cancellation is within 3 of the wedding date, all cancellations must be submitted in writing by registered post and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure receipt of the cancellation.  On receipt of the cancellation you will be sent confirmation and information of any amounts due at the cancellation date, these amounts must be paid within 7 days of confirmation letter,

I strongly advise all wedding customers to take out FULL wedding insurance to cover all unforeseen circumstances which may affect your celebrations.
